Mavi Deniz is the story of a bond formed with the nature of Selimiye.
Our roots trace back to a generation that lived by the sea. The life Mehmet Ali Aydın began years ago with sponge diving and fishing remains the most essential source of inspiration behind our table and our way of hospitality.
What began in 1996 as a family business has grown over time, yet has never strayed from its essence. Every step we have taken has been guided by the desire to offer something better while preserving the simplicity of Selimiye.
Mavi Deniz Restaurant was born from the wish to present the produce of this land in its purest form. For our guests who wished to extend this feeling, we brought Mavi Deniz Konuk Evi to life. Later, with Elizya, we continued this approach through different expressions of the same philosophy.
Today, at Mavi Deniz Hotel, we offer a stay where the calm of Selimiye meets a balance of natural simplicity and comfort.
Even today, at our tables, you will find
the scent of lemon and orange trees from our garden,
the freshness of vegetables from our own plot,
the care of our olive groves,
and the quiet simplicity of fish from the sea.
